God’s love for the believers who
turn to Him seeking forgiveness
for their sins, and some of the
many ways a believer can obtain
God’s forgiveness
O My slaves who have transgressed against themselves
(by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the
Mercy of God: verily, God forgives all sins. Truly He is
Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.” (Quran 39:53)
God did not create humankind for any purpose other than to worship Him. But the human being makes us weak and forgetful , while at the same time our humanity often makes us fully self-importance , proud and arrogant. Arrogance , in turn often leads us to commit sin , and our lack of memory often leads to mistakes that can easily lead to sinful behavior . God knows us , He is our Creator. Not abandoned our imperfect nature , gave us countless opportunities to turn to Him for forgiveness. In fact , God loves us feel remorse and turn to Him seeking His forgiveness and comfort. Prophet Muhammad , may God praise him , said to his companions and all those who follow them in righteousness : " If you did not commit sin, God replaces it with other people who commit sins and ask for forgiveness and forgiving God ." [Saheeh Muslim] This is not an encouragement to sin , but it shows the infinite mercy of God.The door of forgiveness is always open
God, in his infinite wisdom , has made the request for forgiveness easy. If we have not been able to seek and obtain God's forgiveness would be really miserable , full of despair and self-hatred . It is for this reason that there is no transgression too big or too small that God does not forgive sins . All sins are forgivable and the door is wide open to forgiveness almost to the day of judgment has come .
" And turn in repentance and in obedience with true faith to your Lord and submit before the storm has come upon you , then you can not avoid. " ( Quran 39:54 )
When God sees one sincere repentance of believers - a person actually becomes God with fear and hope - He not only forgives sins but sins replaces rewarding good deeds . This is the infinite mercy of God.
" Except those who repent , believe and do good , for them , God will change their sins into good deeds , and Allah is Forgiving , Merciful. " ( Quran 25:70 )
God forgive us our sins , and through the difficulties we encounter in our lives. When we are hit by the disease or suffering adverse circumstances , we will win forgiveness if we keep our difficulties with patience, all the time seeking a reward from God.
Large and small sins
Disobeying God is always a serious matter , but Islamic scholars have been divided into major and minor categories sins. The major sins are sins that lead to the curse of Allah or incur his wrath or are on par with the threat of punishment in hell , including the sin of worshiping another God, which is the most serious act a human can commit something. Other major sins include murder , witchcraft and adultery . Minor sins are defined as acts that displease God , but have no defined punishment mentioned in the Quran and the authentic traditions . However, they are not to be taken lightly as minor sins can easily lead to major sins and God warned us seriously minor sins when he says " ... there were a small thing, everything with God , it was great . " ( Quran24 : 15)
Prophet Muhammad informed us : "Righteousness is good character and morals, and evil is that which wavers in your soul, and does not like people learn about . " [Saheeh Muslim]
Get God's forgiveness is easy
As mentioned above , sincere repentance can erase the sins of a person , forever and completely. This is to show sincere remorse , praying for forgiveness and mercy of God , and to avoid sin in the future. Furthermore, God also gave us other ways to make a fresh start for a person to start again in the eyes of God, as if it were a newborn.
These acts include an embrace Islam unbeliever , and a person who makes a pilgrimage accepted ( Hajj ) to the House of God in Mecca , Saudi Arabia.
" Say to those who disbelieve [ that ] if they cease , what has happened to be forgiven ... " ( Quran 8:38 )
Prophet Muhammad , may God praise him , said : " Do you not know that accepting Islam destroys all sins that are presented ? " [Saheeh Muslim]
"Whoever performs Hajj on behalf of God and not having sex with your wife, and not do evil or sins then return ( after Hajj free from all sins ) as if he had been born again. " [Saheeh Al-Bukhari]
As for minor sins , the mercy of God is so full to forgive us our sins as we perform mandatory actions . The tradition of the Prophet Muhammad , we find several words that reflect this.
[Saheeh Muslim] "Whoever performs ablution well , his sins come out of your body , including under the nails. "
" When the time of the prescribed prayer comes , if any believer performs ablution well and offers his prayer with humility and reverence , it will be an expiation for his past sins, and who has committed a grave sin and this is true for all time . " [Ibid]
" ... If you perform the ablution completely and then goes to the mosque with the sole intention of performing the prayer , and nothing urges him to go to the mosque except the prayer, then , in every step he takes to the mosque , which will rise one degree or one of his sins will be forgiven ... " [Saheeh Bukhari]
"Whoever fasts the month of Ramadan out of sincere Faith (ie belief) with the hope of a reward from Allah , then all will be forgiven his past sins . " [Ibid]
Sins can be forgiven by good works , again , if we try to do these acts entirely for the love of God is not a material reward . " ... Verily, the good deeds remove the evil deeds ( small sins ) . This is a reminder for those who think ( those who accept advice ) . " ( Quran 11:114 )
God has made it easy for us to seek and obtain his forgiveness , but does not come automatically , we should seek God's forgiveness sincerely , knowing that it is only by the grace of God supreme , that whoever will enter Paradise . Prophet Muhammad said . " Do good deeds properly, sincerely and moderately, and rejoice, for no good deeds for him in Paradise" His companions asked : "Not even you, O Messenger of God? " He answered : " not even me , unless God grants forgiveness and mercy on me ." [Saheeh Al-Bukhari]
