The mercy of God is intimately close to each of us , waiting to hug when we're ready . Islam recognizes the human propensity to sin , because God created man weak. The Prophet said :
" All the children of Adam constantly Uh ..."
At the same time, we know that God forgives sins. Continuing the hadith :
" ... But the best will always err are those who constantly repent . " ( Al- Tirmidhi , Ibn Majah, Ahmad , Hakim )
God says :
" Say: "O My servants who have transgressed against their souls ! Despair not of the mercy of God , for God forgives all sins: for He is Forgiving, Merciful " ( Quran 39:53 ) .
Muhammad , the Prophet of Mercy , was charged to convey the good news to all peoples ;
" Tell My servants that I am the Forgiving, the Merciful . " ( Quran 15:49)
Repentance brings God's mercy:
" ... Why not , instead, ask God to forgive your sins, so that you might be honored in his mercy " ( Quran 27:46 )
" ... The mercy of God is always near those who do" ( Quran 7:56 )
Since ancient times, the saving mercy of God saved the misfortune awaiting faithful
" And so, when Our judgment came to pass , by Our grace We saved Hud and those who shared his faith .... " ( Quran 11:58 )
" And so, when Our judgment came to pass , by Our grace We saved Shu'ayb and those who share their faith .... " ( Quran 11:94 )
Fullness of God's compassion toward the sinner can be seen in the following :
1. God accepts repentance
" God does not want to turn to you, but the will of those who follow the passions that you should turn ( him) , - far, far away " ( Qur'an 4:27 ) .
" Do you not know that Allah accepts repentance from His servants and receives their gifts of charity, and God is in him indeed Forgiving, Merciful. " ( Quran 9:104 )
Two . God loves the sinner who repents
" ... God loves those who repent .... " ( Quran 2:22 )
The Prophet said :
" If humanity should not commit sins, God would create creatures who commit sins , forgive them, for He is Forgiving, Merciful . " ( Al- Tirmidhi , Ibn Majah, Musnad Ahmed )
Three . God is pleased when the sinner repents because he realizes that he has a Lord who forgives sins !
The Prophet said :
" God is more pleased with the repentance of His servant when he repents , that one of you would be ( he found his ) camel, which was conducted in an arid desert , having escaped with their food and drink. After despaired of him , hit a tree and settled in the shade. then when he was desperate for it, the camel came and stood next to him and grabbed the reins and shouted with joy : "Oh God, You are my servant and I am your Lord '- to make this error (text) from excessive joy " ( Sahih Muslim) ! .
April . Door of repentance is open day and night
The mercy of God extends forgiveness every day and every night of the year. The Prophet said :
" God extends his hand at night to accept the repentance of those who sinned during the day, and runs during the day to accept the repentance of those who sinned during the night - until [ the day when the sun ] coming out the west ( one of the major signs of the Day of Judgment) . " ( Sahih Muslim)
May . God accepts repentance Although sins are repeated
On several occasions , God shows his compassion for the sinner . The goodness of God to the children of Israel can be seen before the sin of the golden calf had been committed , God dealt with Israel, according to his compassion , even after his sin , He addressed them with mercy. Ar - Rahman said :
" ... And when we name Moses forty nights [ on Mount Sinai ] , and in his absence you took to worshiping the [ golden ] calf , and thus became evildoers : yet even after that, we remove this your sin , so you might be grateful. " ( Quran 2:51-52 )
The Prophet said :
" A man who has committed a sin and said :"Lord , forgive me my sins , " if God said," My servant has committed a sin and realized that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punish you for that. " then the man repeated the sin , and then said,"Lord, forgive my sin. God says : " My servant has committed a sin and realized that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punish you for it. Repeated man sin ( for the third time ) , and then said,"Lord, forgive my sins , " and God says : " My servant has committed a sin and realized that he has a Lord who forgives sins and punish you for it. Do what you want , and I have forgiven you . " ( Sahih Muslim)
June . Entering Islam erases all previous sins
The Prophet said that accepting Islam wipes all past sins of the new Muslim , no matter how bad they were in a condition: the new Muslim accepts Islam pure for God. Some people asked the Messenger of Allah : ' O Messenger of God! ? Are we going to be responsible for what we did during the days of ignorance before accepting Islam, " he said
"Whoever accepts Islam pure God is not responsible , but the fact that for any other reason will be responsible for the time before and after Islam . " ( Sahih Al- Bukhari , Sahih Muslim)
Despite the mercy of God is sufficient to cover all sin , it is the responsibility of a free man to behave properly. It takes discipline and hard work in the way of salvation . Hello in the law of Islam considers faith and uphold the law , not a mere belief in God. We are imperfect and weak, and God created us this way. When we fall short , according to the sacred law , the God of love is ready to forgive . Forgiveness is received simply confess their sins to God alone and begging for mercy , with the intention of not returning .. However, we must always remember that heaven is not earned by virtue of their own actions , but is given by divine mercy . The Prophet of Mercy made this clear :
"None of you will enter Paradise by his deeds alone . " They asked, " Not even you , O Messenger of Allah?" He said, " Not even me , unless God covers me with His grace and mercy. " ( Sahih Muslim)
Belief in God, to keep His law , and good works are considered the cause, not the price of admission to Paradise.
