The Holy Quran
A Summary of the Meanings of Its Verses
The nature and types of revelation
which the Prophets received from God

Revelation is where God imparts whatever knowledge He wills to those whom He chooses to receive it.  God gives this knowledge to them in order for them to convey it to whomever else He wishes.
Prophets

All Messengers of God's revelation experienced. God says :
revelation

" Apocalypse indeed We have sent to you ( O Muhammad ) as we sent revelation to Noah and the prophets who came after him . Ship inspired Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac and Jacob and the tribes , Jesus , Job, Jonah , Aaron and Solomon . and to David we gave the Psalms. and messengers explained above, and messengers we have not talked - and talked to Moses directly " ( Qur'an 4:163 ) .

The possibility of divine revelation can not be denied by those who believe in the existence of God and His omnipotence. God fulfills His creation in any way he pleases. The connection between the Creator and his creation is through his messengers , and these messengers do not know what God wants of them by revelation , either directly or indirectly. The rational mind can not rule out the possibility of a revelation , since nothing is difficult for the Almighty Creator .
revelation

  • The nature of the Apocalypse Prophets
Revelation is not a personal experience that created a prophet within himself . There is a state of mind that a person can achieve by doing some meditation or spiritual exercises. Rather, the revelation is a communication between two people: one who speaks and gives orders , and another is sent , ordered and received . Prophet Muhammad , peace and blessings of God be upon him - as every prophet - not to be confused with the one who gave the revelation to him . As a human being , he felt his weakness before God , for fear of the wrath of God if it is disobeyed , and the hope of God's mercy . Prophets

Asked the help of God , except as he was ordered to do, and was sometimes severely reprimanded by God. The Prophet admitted his absolute inability to change a single word in the book of God. God says :
revelation

" And when Our clear signs are recited to them , those who hope not to meet Us say," Bring a Quran other than this or change it. " Say (O Muhammad ) : " It is not for me to change it on my own I will do what is revealed to me I'm afraid , if you disobey my Lord , the punishment of a terrible day .. " Say: ' . Had God wanted , not have recited it had not been made known. I lived with you for life before coming to me. Makes no sense ? " ( Quran 10:15-16 )

This should make clear the difference between the essence , attributes and ways of the Creator and his creation .
Prophets

The Prophet took great care to maintain a distinction between his own voice (hadith ) and the direct word of God , even if the two were the result of revelation. For this reason, in the early days of revelation , which used to ban anything that he uttered to be written with the exception of the Koran. This preserves the specificity Quran as the word of God , without any mixture of the word people .
revelation

The Prophet also distinguishes in his speech in their own opinions and that came as a revelation from God .

He said : " I am only a mortal like you . Opinions can be good or bad. But when I say that God says something , I know I'll never give up something wrong with God."
Prophets

The Prophet had no part in the revelation he received . Revelation is an external force to be the Prophet. He could not handle it at all. This hypothesis is supported by the fact that some crises happen prophet or one of those around him , which requires an immediate solution , but found no verse of the Qur'an to recite people . He had to keep quiet and wait , sometimes in despair , until God , in his wisdom , has revealed what was needed.

A good example of this is when Aisha , the Prophet's wife , was accused of adultery by some hypocrites if she was innocent . People began to say things that were painful for the Prophet until his heart was about to explode. He could not help it. All I could say was :
"Oh Aisha , I heard this or that. Whether you are innocent, then God will show your innocence , and if you fell into sin and seek forgiveness from God. "

A whole month passed in this way to the bottom declare the innocence of Aisha and the Prophet's house exonerate revelation.
Prophets

In short , the revelation has nothing to do with the decisions and desires of those who receive it . This is an unusual external event . It is a force of knowledge and knowledge gives . It is free of error. Comes only with truth and guides what is right .
How revealed to the angels and messengers

The Koran says that God speaks to angels. God says :

" And (remember ) when the Lord revealed to the angels: " Verily , I am with you , so keep firm those who believe " ... " ( Quran 8:12 )

Revelation is God's angels , talk to them and hear the angels with him.
Quran

Revelation comes from human messengers of God , either directly or through an intermediary. In the case of an intermediary, the angel Gabriel , who brings revelation. There are two ways this happens:

  1. The angel would come to him with a voice like the tinkling of a bell. This is the most severe form of revelation comes the Messenger . Such harsh sound requires the full attention of the prospect of him . When the revelation came that way , was very demanding in all faculties of the Messenger.
  2. The angel would come to him as a man . It was easier than the previous form , as the form of the angelic messenger was familiar to human and easier to relate Messenger. Quran

These two forms are mentioned by the Prophet in his response to al- Harith b . Hisham when asked how the revelation came to him. The Messenger of Allah said :

"Sometimes it comes to me like the ringing of a bell, and it's harder for me. Weighs on me and commit to memory what he says . Sometimes the angel comes to me like a man and talks to me and I promise to mind what he says. "

Apocalypse without going through one of two ways :
Quran

1) A good sleep : Aisha reported:
"It started as a good sleep during sleep. Would not be a dream , but it would be clear as day. "
It was to prepare the Messenger of God for the revelation of enlightenment. The entire Quran was revealed to the Prophet while awake .
The story of Abraham was commanded to sacrifice his son shows how a dream can be the revelation that should be sought. God says : Quran
"We gave the good news of a boy tolerant and when he was old enough to walk with him, he said .. ? " My son , I saw in a dream that I am sacrificing so look , you think ' He said : " my father, do as you ask .. by the will of God , you will find that I am among those who are patient " so when they had both held and had asked the stomach on the forehead , called to him:"Oh Abraham , who has fulfilled the dream . " Thus do We reward the righteous. It was indeed a manifest trial . We purchased and have a great sacrifice. Goodly and remember it for future generations . Peace be upon Abraham ! So while we reward the righteous. In truth , he was one of Our believing servants . " ( Quran 37:101-111 )
If this dream was the revelation that must be obeyed Abraham had never gone before sacrifice his son , but in fact almost did. He was arrested only because God ordered him to stop and ordered him to sacrifice something better.
The good sleep is not just for prophets . It is for believers , but not revelation. The Messenger of Allah said :
. " Nothing remains of prophecy except the good news " When asked what the good news is , said : "Dreams " . Quran

2) God speaks directly behind a barrier : What happened to the prophet Moses . God says :
" When Moses came to the scheduled meeting , the Lord spoke ... " ( Quran 7:143 )

God also says :

" ... And God spoke to Moses directly . " ( Quran 4:164 )

This also happened to the Prophet Muhammad on the night of their journey and ascension , when he was received up into heaven , and his Lord spoke .
Quran

All these ways of receiving revelation are mentioned in the Quran . God says :

" Not for a human being that God speaks , unless the revelation or from behind a barrier , or by sending a messenger to reveal by His leave what He wants . Indeed, He is Knowing, Wise . " ( Quran 42:51 )
