Jesus in Islam - His crucifixion and second coming

The Islamic concept of Jesus

His crucifixion

God said in the Quran that Jesus was not crucified , but was released this way by the Jews , and that God raised him from the heavens . The Qur'an does not specify , however , who was the person crucified instead of Jesus, peace and blessings of God be upon him .
"... They did not kill him and did not crucify him , but (another ) makes you look like them ... " (Quran 4:157 )
Islam
" Him hath God exalted with his presence . God is Mighty, Wise. " (Quran 4:158 )

As such , Islam denies that Jesus came to earth in order to sacrifice for the sin of Adam and Eve and the rest of humanity , releasing its load. Islam strictly rejects the idea that anyone who takes the sin of another . God says:
" No bearer of burdens shall bear the burden of another. "(Quran 39:7 )
Islam
Moreover, Islam insists on the idea that God is able to forgive all sins, if a person truly repents and then refrains from repeating . God does not need a blood sacrifice for that , much less in the way of man and die for the sins of all men . Instead, God's mercy extends to all creatures, believers and non- believers themselves . The door of forgiveness is open to anyone interested .

 The Second Coming of Christ

As Christians , Muslims also believe in the return of Jesus the Messiah on earth , although his role and reason for its return differ from what Christians offer . He will return to earth primarily to prove his mortality and refute the false beliefs people have about it. Live a normal married life, and die like any other human being. At this point, the question will be clear about this , and all people must have thought that was really threatening. Jesus
"It's not one of the People of the Book but will believe in him (Jesus ) before his death , and on the Day of Resurrection will be a testimony against them. " ( Qur'an 4: 159 )

Jesus also fight the false Christ , calling people to believe that he is God, and that appears just before his return . Jesus will defeat the antichrist , and all the people will accept the true religion of God. The world will see a kind of peace and serenity insensitive in history, all worshiping the same God , subordinate alone and in peace with one another. crucifixion

Conclusion
What preceded was just a brief introduction to the truth that God has revealed about Jesus in his last book , the Quran , which was revealed to Muhammad. There is only one God who has created a race of humans and communicate their message submission to worship God and God alone and follow their instructions - known in Arabic as Islam. This message to be sent first humans on this earth, and reaffirmed by all the prophets of God who came after them throughout all ages.
crucifixion

Jesus Christ, born of the Virgin Mary , performed miracles and invited the Israelites to the same message of submission ( Islam ) as well as all the prophets before him . He was not God, and he was not the "Son of God " , but he was the Messiah, a prophet of God illustrated. Jesus invited people to worship him , but he called to love God , whom he adored. He confirmed the laws of the Torah which Prophet Moses taught , lived by them, and asked his disciples to follow in detail, after allowing things that Jews made illegal in themselves. Before his departure , he told his disciples that the last prophet , Muhammad of Arabia, who came after him, and asked them to respect their teachings . crucifixion

In the generations after Jesus' departure from this world, his teachings were distorted and he was elevated to God. Six centuries later , with the advent of the Prophet Muhammad , the truth about Jesus Christ was finally told and preserved eternally in the last book of divine revelation , the Quran . Moreover, most of the laws of Moses , Jesus followed , were restored to its pure form , unadulterated and applied in a manner prescribed by the God of life known as Islam way , while many other aspects laws and injunctions had been brought by the major prophets were reduced or completely eliminated. crucifixion

Therefore, the reality of the prophets, their uniform message, and the lifestyle that followed can be found preserved in the religion of Islam , the only religion prescribed by God for man. Furthermore, only Muslims today actually follow Jesus and his true teachings . Their way of life is much more in tune with the lifestyle of Jesus in practice than any of today " Christians." Love and respect of Jesus Christ is an article of faith in Islam , and God stressed the importance of faith in Jesus many places in the Qur'an.

Jesus in Islam - The question of his divinity and mission

Discuss the Islamic
concept of Jesus

The question of his
divinity and mission

Divinity

Muslims believe in the absolute oneness of God, a Supreme Being without human limitations , needs and desires . He has no partner in His divinity . He is the Creator of all and is completely independent of its creation, and all worship should be directed to Him alone. Jesus mission
This was the same message brought by all the prophets of God , including Jesus . He never claimed qualities of divinity , and he said he deserved to be worshiped. He said it was the "son " of God or part of the "Trinity" , but he was a servant of God sent to the Jews to return to the true religion , worship one God and follow his instructions. Most Quranic verses mention Jesus discuss this aspect .
mission divinity

Only show that was considered a cult because of the lies that people have invented him. Confirm accounts of his life where Jesus himself clearly denies that he deserved no worship, and supports the idea that the parables and examples that God has given showed his mortal nature, not his divinity or filial relationship God. God tells Jesus in the Quran :
"In fact, they believed that say," God is the Messiah, son of Mary "while the Messiah has said," O Children of Israel, worship God, my Lord and your Lord ... " (Quran 5 : 72 )
Jesus mission

God says about the belief that Jesus is part of a " trinity" :
"In fact, they believed that they say ." God is the third of three " (place) there is none worthy of worship except One ( God). And if they do not give up what they say, no doubt, will afflict the disbelievers among them a painful punishment. Therefore not repent to God and seek his forgiveness ? and God is Forgiving, Merciful . Messiah (Jesus ), the son of Mary, was only a messenger before whom many Messengers have passed away, and her mother is totally committed to the truth, and both ate food ( as other mortals do) see how we make our signs clear to them ; . ! And see where away "( Qur'an 5:73-75 )
Jesus mission

And also:
"People of the Book (Jews and Christians) : Do not exceed the limits of your religion, and attribute to God nothing but the true Messiah, Jesus , son of Mary, was only a messenger of God, and His command . He bestowed on Mary , and a spirit from Him so believe in God and his messengers , and say . Yourself this statement, it would be better for you to drive God is a Trinity " .. God is indeed (the only ) God Far from His glory was to have a son to Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and on earth, and Allah is sufficient for a tutor " (Quran 4 .... : 171)
Jesus mission
God will judge this belief as an enormity against their essence :
" And they say : " . The Merciful (God) has taken ( to Himself ) a son "Verily I utter a horrible thing , where the heavens are almost torn, and the earth are divided into pieces and falling mountains in ruins, which are attributed to a Merciful son, when it is not suitable for ( the Majesty of ) the Most Gracious that he should take a son. 's in heaven and earth but comes to the Beneficent as a slave . " (Quran 19:88-93 )
Jesus mission

Judgment Day , Jesus will release this false attribution . God gives us an idea of what you will say when asked why people worshiped him ;
" And (beware the Day ) when God will say,"Jesus , son of Mary, you say to people : ' to Take me and my mother as two gods besides God " He will say : "Glory to Thee ! It was not for me to say what I have no right . If I had said , You would  have known. You know what is in me, and I do not know what is in yourself. In fact, it is you who is Knower of the unseen . I said no, except what you commanded me - to worship God , my Lord and your Lord ... " (Quran 5:116-117 )

In these verses , God proclaims that the attribution to Jesus " Son of God" or " part of the Trinity " attribute is indeed a great blasphemy. The reason for this relates to the key fundamental assertion that God is unique and different from any of its creation and in its essence, is unique in its divinity, His Attributes and His Lordship. All the above are strict monotheism which he revealed in his writings, his first of the Ten

Commandments :
"I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt , from the house of bondage. Shall have no other gods before me . " (Exodus 20:1-3 ) Jesus}}} mission}}}
Assign a child of God is in sharp contrast to this principle that the creation was created and sent prophets . God says in the Quran:
" And I have not created jinn and mankind except to worship Me . " (Quran 51:56 )
He also said:
" And certainly We raised in every nation a messenger , (saying ) : " Worship God and avoid all false objects of worship ... " (Quran 16:36)
Jesus mission
Its mission
As indicated above , the Quran clearly states that Jesus was a prophet , and that was no more than that. Prophets are definitely the best of creation. They are the ones God chose to receive his revelation, but at the same time, they are only messengers of God and worship do not deserve . Jesus , as mentioned in the Quran , is not different from any of them in this regard.
Throughout the Qur'an , Jesus is identified as primarily a prophet of God sent to the Jews who had deviated from the teachings of Moses and other Messengers time.
Jesus
" And (remember ) when Jesus , son of Mary said : " O Children of Israel : I am the messenger of God sent to you, confirming the Torah (input) before me ... " (Quran 61:6 )

Jesus Christ the son of Mary, is the latest in the line of Jewish prophets. He lived according to the Torah , the law of Moses , and taught his disciples to do the same. In Matthew 5:17-18 , Jesus said :
" Think not that I am come to destroy the law and the ( way of ) the prophets . I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill"
mission
In this, he and his message was no different from the previous prophets chosen by God , who calls everyone to worship God and only God and obedience to His commandments. As he was miraculously supported by God in his conception, birth and childhood, but also has been supported by numerous miracles to prove that he was a messenger of God.

However, most of the Jews rejected his prophet hood . mission
Jesus not only affirm the scriptures revealed before him, but he also predicted that another prophet would come after him . God says:
" And when Jesus son of Mary said : 'Children of Israel ! In fact, I am the messenger of God to you , confirming what was (revealed ) before me in the Torah , and giving Glad Tidings of a Messenger to come after me , whose name is the Praised . " (Quran 61:6 )
mission
This fact is also mentioned in the New Testament. A careful study shows that Jesus , peace be upon him, refers to the same Prophet in John 14:16-17 :
" And I 'll give you another Counselor (the Prophet Muhammad , peace and blessings of God be upon him ) to be with you forever , the Spirit of Truth. "

Jesus in Islam - Discuss the Islamic concept of Jesus : His birth and miracles

Saturday, January 25, 2014
The Islamic view of Jesus
lies between two extremes

The Jews, who rejected Jesus as
a prophet , called him an imposter,

while the Christians on the contrary
is considered the son of God
and worship him as such

Islam considers Jesus as one of the largest and most indulgent of the prophets , in addition to Noah, Abraham, Moses and Muhammad , peace be upon them . Jesus is also considered as the Messiah. This is in accordance with the Islamic view of the oneness of God, the oneness of Divine guidance , and the complementary role of the subsequent mission of God's messengers . miracles

God's message to mankind , which is to worship God and only God and live according to your instructions , it was revealed to Adam ( peace be upon him), who passed it on to their children. All subsequent revelations to Noah , Abraham , Moses, Jesus, Mohammed and finally agree with this message. Therefore, Islam considers the contradictions between the revealed religions as man-made elements introduced into these religions. The position of Jesus in the three major religions - Judaism, Christianity and Islam is no exception .

Although the Qur'an does not present a detailed life story of Jesus , it highlights the important aspects of his birth, his mission, his ascension into heaven. Judges also Christian and Jewish beliefs concerning him . Let's examine some of the truths that God has revealed about Jesus in the Koran. miracles
Born of a virgin mother
Like Christians , Muslims believe Mary , Maria in Spanish , or Maryam as it is called in Arabic , was a chaste virgin woman, who miraculously gave birth to Jesus. The birth of Jesus in itself was a miracle that he had no father. God describes his birth in the Qur'an as follows :
" And mention in the Book (the Qur'an) Mary, when she withdrew in seclusion from her family to a place facing east . She placed a screen (between them) of them, then we will send a spirit (the angel Gabriel) , and appeared as a man in all respects, said , "Verily, I take refuge in the Merciful (God) that , if you do fear God " ( the angel ) said: . . , "I am only a messenger from thy Lord, ( to announce ) to you the gift of a pure son. " he said ," How I can have a child when no that touched me , and I'm not a prostitute , "she said," So ( be ) , the Lord said it is easy for me ( God) : and ( we wish ) to appoint him as a sign to mankind and a mercy from Us ( God), and it is a matter (already) decreed ( by God) " (Quran 19:16-21 ) .

This, however , requires that Jesus is the divine essence or spirit , is not worthy of worship , the existence of Adam was more miraculous than that of Jesus. If his miraculous birth was proof that Jesus was God incarnate or the son , Adam would have more right over this divinity than him. Instead , both are prophets who were inspired by the revelation of God Almighty , and both were the servants of him living his commandments .
"In fact, the image of Jesus with God is as the likeness of Adam, created from dust, then said to him .. " I know " and that I was " (Quran 3:59 )

Miracles
Muslims, like Christians believe Jesus performed miracles. These miracles were performed by the will and permission of God, who has power and control over all things.
"And God will say,"Jesus , son of Mary, remember My thanks to you and your mom Here I strengthened thee with the Holy Spirit ( the angel Gabriel) by what you said ! . ! . ! village childhood and maturity Here teaching them the Book and Wisdom, the Torah and the Gospel and behold. you make clay , as it were , the figure of a bird by My leave , and you breathe into it and it becomes a bird by My Permission , and heal the blind and the leper by My permission . and lo! you bring forth the dead by My leave . and lo! J ' I remember the children of Israel from ( violence to you ) when you showed clear signs and the unbelievers among them said . " This is nothing but evident magic " (Quran 5:110 )
God sent all prophets specific nation to which they were sent to test the truth of his message miracles. These miracles were not their own, but were only evident in their hands by the will of God. The miracles of Jesus were no different. Jews were well advanced in the field of medicine, and miracles that Jesus brought were of this nature , demonstrating the truth of his message and convince the Jews.

The Crucifixion : The Religious Mysteries

Saturday, January 25, 2014
An analytical look
at the evidence base
and the crucifixion of
Jesus Christ the mysterious

Of all the Christian mysteries , none rank as high as the concept of Christ's crucifixion and atonement. In fact , Christians base their salvation on the principle of faith. And if it really happened , are not we all ?
If it really happened , that is.
God
Now I do not know about you, but the concept of Jesus Christ, who atoned for the sins of mankind seems good enough for me. And should he ? I mean, if we can trust that someone else has atoned for all our sins , and we can go to heaven in this concept alone , do not immediately close this issue?
If it really happened , that is.
God
So , let's see this. We are told that Jesus Christ was crucified . But again , we are told many things that are revealed later as doubtful or even false, it would be reassuring if we could verify the fact .
God

Therefore, we will ask the witnesses. Ask the authors of the Gospel.
Umm , one problem . We do not know who the perpetrators are . This is a less popular Christian mystery ( this is waaay less popular) - . The fact that the four New Testament Gospels are anonymous [Ehrman, Bart D. Lost Christianities. p. 3, 235. Also, see Ehrman, Bart D. The New Testament: A Historical Introduction to the Early Christian Writings. p. 49] No one knows who wrote them. Graham Stanton says . " The gospels , unlike most Graeco-Roman writings, are anonymous family titles that give the author's name ( " The Gospel According to ... ") were not part of the original manuscripts , as were added to the early second century. " [Stanton, Graham N. p. 19 ]
God
Added to the second century ? By who? Believe it or not, this is anonymous.
But forget all that. After all , the four gospels are part of the Bible , we must respect them as Scripture , right?
Right?
Well, maybe not. After all , English interpreter of the Bible says . " It's safe to say that there is one sentence in the NT in which the MS tradition [ manuscript ] is wholly uniform" [Buttrick, George Arthur (Ed.). 1962 (1996 Print). The Interpreter’s Dictionary of the Bible. Volume 4. Nashville: Abingdon Press. pp. 594–595 (Under Text, NT)] Add to Bart D. Famous words of the company Ehrman , " Maybe it's easier to put the matter in comparative terms. There are more differences between the manuscripts words in the New Testament " [Ibid., The New Testament: A Historical Introduction to the Early Christian Writings. p. 12]
God

Whoa . It is hard to imagine. On the one hand, we have Matthew, Mark , Luke and John tell us . . . oh , sorry. I mean, we have Anonymous , Anonymous , Anonymous and tell us. . . Well , what? What do they say ? They cannot even agree on what Jesus wore , drank, done or said ? After all, Matthew 27:28 tells us that Jesus wearing scarlet coat Roman soldiers . John 19:02 says that is purple . Matthew 27:34 says that the Romans gave Jesus vinegar mixed with gall . Mark 15:23 says that was mixed with myrrh . Mark 15:25 tells us that Jesus was crucified before the third hour, but says it was John 19:14-15 Luke 23:46 says the last words of Jesus were " sixth hour. ": " Father, into your hands I commend my spirit " , but John 19:30 says they were "it is finished ! "

Wait a minute. The disciples of Jesus had just hung on his lips. On the other hand , Mark 14:50 tells us that all the disciples deserted Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane. But hey , some people - not disciples , I guess , but some people (anonymous , of course ) - dangling from his lips , hoping some parting words of wisdom, and they listened . . . different things? God
Believe it or not , after this point , the Gospel records become even more inconsistent.
After the alleged resurrection hardly find any of the questions of the four gospels (Matthew 28 , Mark 16 , Luke 24 , 20) and John agreed . For example :

Who went to the tomb ?
Matthew: " Mary Magdalene and the other Mary"
Mark: " Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of Jacques and Salome "
Lucas : " The women who had come with him from Galilee " and " other women "
John : " Mary Magdalene "
Why they went to the tomb ?
Matthew: " To see the grave"
Mark : They " brought spices , that they might come and anoint him"
Lucas : They " brought spices "
John : no reason
Is there an earthquake ( something no one in the neighborhood would be likely to miss or forget ) ?
Matthew : Yes
Brand: no mention
Lucas : not stated
John : no mention
Falling angel ? (I mean , come on, guys - an angel Are we to believe that three I missed this part)
Matthew : Yes
Brand: no mention
Lucas : not stated
John : no mention
Who moved the stone?
Matthew : Angel ( one of three anonymouses - Now , see, that would be " anonymouses " or " anonymice " - misses ? )
Brand: Unknown
Lucas : unknown
John : unknown
Who was the grave?
Matthew " an angel "
Mark: " young "
Lucas : " two men "
John : " Two Angels "
Where were they ?
Matthew : The angel sat on the stone outside the tomb .
Brand : Young was in the tomb , " sitting on the right side. "
Lucas : The two men were inside the tomb , standing beside them .
John : Two angels were " sitting , one at the head and one at the feet , where the body of Jesus had lain . "

Where and by whom was first seen Jesus?
Matthew : Mary Magdalene and " the other Mary " on the road to tell the disciples .
Mark : Mary Magdalene, not to mention where.
God
Luke : Two disciples on the road to " a village called Emmaus, about seven miles from Jerusalem . "
John : Mary Magdalene outside the tomb .
So where are we, if demand for the idea of writing what is ?
But, well , Christians tell us that Jesus had to die for our sins. A typical conversation might go something like this:
Monotheistic : Oh . So you believe that God is dead ?
Trinity: No, God forbid. Only man is dead.
Monotheistic : In this case , the sacrifice does not have to be divine , except that the man is dead - part.
Trinity: No, no, no. Man - of death, but Jesus / God suffered on the cross for our sins.
Monotheistic : What do you mean "was" ? God does not "need " something.
Trinitarian God needed a sacrifice and a human being would not. God needed a sacrifice big enough to atone for the sins of mankind , so he sent his only Son.
Mysteries
Monotheistic : So we have a different conception of God. Who believe in God do not need. God never wants to do something , but cannot because you need something to make this possible. God never says, "Hey , I want to do , but I cannot first have a little something Come on, where can I find it . . ? " In this scenario God would depend on what the company can meet its needs.
Mysteries
In other words, God must have a superior god . For a strictly monotheistic , that is simply not possible, because God is one , supreme , self-sufficient , the source of all creation. Humanity needs , God does not. We need your address , mercy and forgiveness , but we do not need anything in return. It may be desirable servitude and worship, but not necessary .
Mysteries
Trinidad : But that's the point , God tells us to worship, and we do it through prayer. But God is pure and holy , and men are sinners. We cannot approach God directly because of the impurity of our sins. Therefore , we need an intercessor to pray through .
Monotheistic : Question - Did Jesus sinned ?
Trinity: No, he was without sin.
Monotheistic : How do you clean it?
Trinitarian : Jesus? 100 % pure. He was God / Son of God, which was 100 % holy .
Mysteries
Monotheistic : But cannot approach Jesus more than God can , by your criteria. Its premise is that humanity cannot pray directly to God because of the incompatibility of sinners and purity of 100 % of nothing holy . If Jesus was 100 % holy, then it is more accessible than God. On the other hand , if Jesus was not 100% holy , as he was contaminated and could not approach God directly , much less be God , the Son of God, or partner with God.
Mysteries
A good analogy would be to meet with a man - a supremely sacred person alive , holiness radiating from his being , oozing through the pores. So we'll see , but said the "holy " does not accept the meeting. In fact, he cannot stand being in the same room with a mortal sin contaminated. We can talk to your receptionist , but the saint himself ? Fat Chance! It is too sacred to sit with us lesser beings . So what do we think now? Sounds saint or a fool ?

Common sense tells us that saintly persons are affordable, the holiest , the most accessible . So why humanity needs an intermediary between us and God ? And why God requires the sacrifice of what Christians offer to be " his only Son ," where , according to Hosea 6:06 , " For I desire mercy and not sacrifice . " This lesson was worth mentioning two New Testament , the first in Matthew 9:13 , the second in Matthew 12:07 . Why , then, are the church's teaching that Jesus had to be sacrificed ? And if he was sent for this purpose , why pray to be saved? Mysteries

Perhaps Jesus' prayer is explained by Hebrews 5:07 , which says that because Jesus was a righteous man , God answered his prayer to be saved from death : "In the days of his flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that he could save him from death , and was heard because of his respectful attitude " ( Hebrews 5:07 , NIV). Now , which means " God heard his prayer " means - God has heard loud and clear and ignored ? No, it means that God answered his prayer . We certainly cannot say that God has heard and rejected the prayer, because then the phrase "for his friendly offer " would be absurd , along the lines of " God heard his prayer and he refused because that he was a righteous man . "
Hm . Then why not suggest that Jesus was not crucified in the first place ?
Mysteries

But let's step back and ask ourselves why we must believe to be saved? On the one hand , the original sin , is bound to be mandatory , whether we believe . On the other hand , salvation is seen as a conditional acceptance (ie , belief ) of the crucifixion and atonement of Jesus Christ. In the first case , the belief is considered irrelevant in the second , it is necessary . The question is, "Did Jesus pay the price or not ? " If he paid the price , our sins are forgiven , whether we believe or not . If not paid the price , not matter anyway . Mysteries

Finally , forgiveness is priceless. A person cannot forgive another debt forever and demand repayment . The argument that God forgives, but only if given a sacrifice, says he does not want in the first place ( see Hosea 6:06 , Matthew 9:13 ET 24:07 ) drags a wing and wheel on the perform tracking rational analysis. Where, then , is the formula ? Como ( the aforementioned inconsistency manuscript ghostwriting ) is written, is not Jesus. In addition , the Christian formula for salvation depends on the notion of original sin, and we must ask why we should believe that if the concept cannot justify the rest of the Christian formula . Mysteries
