Often when discussing religion , we hear the claim that no one has the right to judge another person 's beliefs or religion is a private matter and one can not say that c ' is good or bad. religion one
Throughout history , societies have based their laws and ethics of the " absolute truths " they consider " good" , and is a result of either an external text regarded as supreme, or character that is in the innate nature of man which causes them to see things as good and others as evil. religion 
 
Human beings, on a limited scale , can see things as good and evil. For example , all human beings, left to their natural state without perversion of mind , you see feces and urine also dirty . religion

One might think it's perfectly acceptable to commit adultery , while another may think wrongly . One might think that it is permissible to be involved in drugs because it is your own body , and others might think it's a crime. None would be able to say that everything that is good or bad , and all the people would be left to fend for themselves to believe and practice what they perceive as "correct" . religion
If we were to implement this belief in society , we have based anarchy community, where no law could legislate or implement , because the law is based on the principle that certain things should be good and some are ill . If one were to say that there are certain truths agreed by all human beings that can be used to pass laws , this statement is true , to some extent, as we have said that all human beings are naturally refers to good and evil in a limited sense . But as you can see , this feature becomes perverted repeated occasions by environmental, psychological or religious factors , that certain acts which were at the same time because the evil and immorality are then considered valid and acceptable, and some things that do not agree with the nature of man is considered the key to salvation . religion 
 
This can be clearly seen in democratic societies that base their laws on the majority. We see many things that were considered simply absurd or immoral are now socially acceptable , provided that , if one has a different opinion on the matter, they are considered the outcasts. religion
For this reason , human beings cannot be left to their own agreements to legislate what is right and wrong. Even in societies of the same religion that established the separation of religion and state, even if they agree with these things they kept their religion , they are very different in terms of what is considered right and wrong in their societies . How Do We Know God is One? A Philosophical and Theological Perspective - (3)

A simpler way to provide evidence of the unity of God refers to the revelation. The argument here is that if God Himself has given to mankind and that this revelation can prove it, then he says of himself is obviously true . Bold hypotheses , perspective, at least , agnostic , how are you aware that God himself has announced to mankind and how is this revelation? Perspective

Take the last first hypothesis. If God Himself has given to mankind there are only two ways to know : external and internal . What do I mean by " in house" , is that you can know who God only through introspection and internalization and what we mean by "outside" is that you can know who God outside yourself through communication , that is, you create an instance in the world of independent spirit. Knowing God is internal plausible for the following reasons , One

1) Human beings are different. They have what psychologists call " individual differences " , these individual differences include DNA , experiments , social, intellectual and emotional ability , gender, among many others. These differences have a role in their ability to internalize through introspection or intuition , therefore , the results of introspection or trust your intuition will be different. So you can see that if these processes are used only for the knowledge of God , there would be inevitable differences in our understanding of it . This is the case of a historical perspective , from the ancient world 6000 BC , there are records of about 3700 different names and concepts of God ! One

2) Since the method used to conclude that God exists is a method of "common sense" , or what philosophers call rational thought and Muslim theologians W hat can call the innate idea , then try to know God within leads to errors . This is because it can be concluded with the universe as evidence of a transcendent cause beyond is that it must be eternal , unique , powerful , personal , anything else would be speculation. One The Qur'an rightly says " Why are you telling God that you have no knowledge ? " If you try to assimilate what God would be the equivalent of a mouse trying to conceptualize and think like an elephant. Obviously , the human being is not eternal , unique and powerful , so that human beings can not conceptualize God is. God says via external revelation . Perspective

Consider the following example into consideration , you know that God exists as the sound of the door , it is assumed that something is there, but do you know who is ? You do not expect anyone , so shout " Who is this ? " Knowing , and the only way to know is if the person behind the door says . Therefore, we can conclude that if God has said or announced anything should be external to the human being.

From the Islamic point of view this external communication is the Qur'an , as it is the only text to say is from God , that meets the criteria of a divine text  These criteria include ,

1) Must be compatible with the God find rational and intuitive. For example , if a book says God is an elephant with 40 weapons would assume that this book is not of God , that God should be external to the universe. Perspective

2) Must be consistent internally and externally. In other words , if it says on page 20 that God is one and then on page 340 of his said that God is three, which is an internal inconsistency . Also, if the book says that the universe is only 6,000 years old, then it would be inconsistent as external reality as we know that the universe is 6,000 years older . One

3 ) There should be no signs of transcendence. In simple terms , you must have evidence to prove it is from God.

In the case of the Qur'an - and this post is not the place to discuss in depth - can not be explained by naturalistic explanations are both supernatural explanation. Some of these symptoms include :

a) The inimitable linguistic and literary

b ) There are historical accounts that could not be known to man at the time of revelation  One

c ) There are descriptions of natural phenomena that can not be known to man at the time of revelation

To conclude , since the only way to know what God has announced to humanity is external revelation , and this revelation can prove that the Qur'an - so what it says about God is true . In the context of this discussion , the Quran says : "Know that the Lord is One."

Logical Argument  One
Logic dictates that if there is more than one God who created the universe , it would not be chaos and order level , we are in the cosmos. To answer this argument you need to understand is that the best explanation for the origins of the universe is the concept of God and not the "design" or "creator" . This is because God , by definition , is someone who has a desire to impose limits , if there are two or more gods , that would mean that they would have a contest of wills and causes chaos and disorder . However, one can argue that they agree to have the same or will have their own area , but that would mean that wills are now limited and passive , which means that they are not gods by definition ! This is explained by Ibn Abi al- Izz in his commentary " Aqeedah at- Tahawiyyah "

" The most common argument used to be known as exclusion argument . Argument is as follows . If there were two creators and they do not agree on something, because X wanted to move , while the other does not want to move, or wanted to Y life, while the other wanted without life, then logically speaking , there are only three possibilities. First, the wishes of both are made and , secondly, that the will of one of them is in third place , carried out the will of any of them . the first case is impossible because it requires the existence of opposites. a third possibility is also excluded because it would imply that the body is not moving, or not moving and is not possible. This also implies that both are unable or have their wills , which prohibit be God. Finally, if the will is one and not the other , simply deserve God whose will is done can not be regarded as God. "

What makes us appreciate the difference and duality ? How can we differentiate between two people walking down the street ? The answer lies in what is called conceptual differentiation . These concepts include space, distance , shape and physical characteristics. Take into consideration the following diagram , God

The reason can be seen above two objects due to differences in color , size and shape, including placement , in other words , there is a distance between them. In the absence of these concepts could pick up two or object to all objects ? You could not, because these concepts is necessary to collect a number of entities. Since you do not have ideas for recognizing a plurality of causes that make even a single cause can not exist ? No, it is not, because if there is no place in the universe , then it would mean that the world, in the words of Bertrand Russell , " is there and that's all. God " In other words , this would mean that the universe is infinite , but this may not be the case , as mentioned above , the universe began to exist. Therefore, a single independent cause rationally required to explain the fact that the universe began to exist and a plurality of causes that can not be collected because of the lack of differentiation conceptual . The cause of the universe must be unique , as the Qur'an says : "There is nothing like it. " If the cause of the universe was not one to say that there are some similarities between the cause of the universe and the universe itself . This is not possible because it would place the cause of the universe in the universe (if the universe is defined as the sum of all subjects) and lead to the absurd as it would imply that the universe itself even created . God  Now, you may ask, why not the cause of the universe as the universe ? The answer is simple, the cause must be immaterial , because it created the sum of all the material - which is the universe itself - and another principle that holds that it is the first law of thermodynamics , which states that "energy can not be created nor destroyed " energy only (ie , matter ) can not create. God If the cause is material, then it would defy this principle , it would mean the material and create energy independence. Therefore it can be concluded that the cause of the universe must be immaterial and therefore unique. One God

Explain why there must be a cause of the existence of the universe and that this issue should be

One of the most common questions asked during the course of Islamic education was " If God exists , why do we have to believe that one ? " This is important because it addresses a fundamental concept in Islamic theology , the concept of unity of God . The oneness of God, Tawhid in Arabic, is a central theme in the Quran and the message of all the prophets . God}}} Quran eloquently describes the nature of God and its uniqueness in Chapter 112: " Say: He is God, the only God is the one in which all creation depends for its livelihood spawned no, no ... No one generates comparable to him. " Perspective}}}

Before you begin to answer the question , it is important to add that the concept of unity in Islam is not limited to the uniqueness and oneness of God . One}}} There are many aspects of this concept that involves how humans should worship God, must understand how his lordship , and how to include the names and attributes of God . It does not stop there, as these ideas become the world view and perspective of an individual, as a famous thinker wrote subcontinent : Perspective}}}

" A believer in this ... can never be limited in its perspective . He believes in a God who is the Creator of heaven and earth , the Lord of the East and the West and Sustainer of the whole universe . According to this belief , not you consider anything in the world as a stranger to himself. God}}} he looks everything in the universe as belonging to the same Lord himself belongs . their sympathy for the love and service is not limited to an area or a particular group. " The answer seems pretty obvious from the undeniable logic and metaphysics that whatever begins to exist has a cause, and since I started the universe exists, which must have a cause . One}}} would be unreasonable to ask for more of a cause for the universe as an infinite regress of causes is impossible. the reasons are actually infinite absurdity of existing in reality, consider the following examples, Perspective}}}

1) You have an infinite number of people in a room , if I take away two , how was it ? The response is lower than the two infinite. But is it logical? If less than an infinite number of people in a room , you should be able to count the number in the real world. But you can not , in other words, the infinite has no meaning in the real world . In light of this mathematical state Kasman and Newman "endless certainly does not exist in the same sense that we say : " There are fish in the sea "  God}}}

2 ) Imagine that I am a soldier and I want to make an enemy . So the conclusion that the universe has a single uncaused cause seems quite plausible independent , but you can always ask a plurality of causes occur simultaneously . Is this a valid argument ? I think there is a strong argument if we considered Ockham 's razor . Ockham 's razor is a philosophical principle attributed to the 14th century logician and Franciscan friar William of Ockham . " In other words , the simplest explanation is the most complete and best explanation . God}}}

Essentially this means that in the absence of any evidence or lack of need for a plurality of reasons , we have to keep the explanation simple full . In this case , we have no evidence to say that the cause of the universe is actually a combination of two , three or even thousands of reasons to explain the easiest and most complete is that this cause is . Apply a plurality of causes does not add to the completeness of the discussion. In other words , to add more causes not improve the explanatory power or scope of the discussion. For example , say that the universe was caused by a powerful also full because that statement is due to two powerful causes everyone. Due to a powerful cause is all that is necessary, simply because it is powerful. God}}}

A statement that the argument is that if we apply this principle to the Egyptian pyramids adopt the absurd view that was made by one person . However, it is a misapplication of the principle . Given that the pyramids were built by a person is not actually the simplest explanation and more complete because it raises many more questions than answers. For example , how a man can build the pyramids ? It is much wider for application was built by many men. God}}} In light of this, one can say that the universe is so complex that it would be absurd to suppose that it was created by one person . This statement , while true , is misplaced . A powerful being created the entire universe is a more consistent and easier than a plurality of causes much explanation . God}}} Now , critical and can still claim that the pyramids could then have been built by an all-powerful . But the problem is that there is nothing in the universe is an all-powerful , and that the pyramids were built by an efficient cause ( a person or persons acting ) continues to be the same type of case. Misconceptions about Allah - Allah – the One and Only - God

God is God. He is the one who puts in their time of need. It is one because when miracles of life become clear . Allah is a word that has many layers of meaning. " " He is the Creator of heaven and earth. How will you have children when you have no wife? He created all things and He is the Knowing . Such is Allah, your Lord ! La ilaha illa Huwa ( none has the right to be worshiped but He ) , the Creator of all things . So he ( alone) worship , and is the Trust , Registered Office , Guardian over all things . No vision can grasp Him , but their scope is all eyes. It is the most subtle and polite , you know all things. " ( Quran 6:101-103 )

In Arabic , the word of God ( Allah ) comes from the verb ta'allaha (or ilaha ) , which means " to be worshiped. " Allah means the One who deserves all worship .

Allah is God , the Creator and Sustainer of the world, but the differences and the confusion arises because of the Word of God can be plural as in gods , or change gender as a goddess. This is not the case in Arabic. The word Allah is unique, no plural or gender. The use of words or grammatical only and in no way indicate that Allah has any form of sex is comprehensible to us. Allah is unique. In Arabic , the name can not be changed . God himself describes in the Qur'an:

" Say (O Muhammad ) He is Allah, ( the ) One . Allah -us - Samad ( The self-sufficient master, that all creatures need , He neither eats nor drinks ) . Generates not been generated and is not co - equal to or comparable to Him " (Qur'an, 112 ) .

This short chapter of the Quran is known as Chapter purity or sincerity. In a nutshell , summarizes the system of Islamic belief that Allah or God is one. He is alone in His majesty, He is the only one of its omnipotence. He has no partners or associates. He was there at the beginning and will be there at the end. God is one. Some might ask, " If God is one, then why the Qur'an uses the word truth ?

In the English language , understand the use of the royal "we", or grammatical construction known as the royal . Many other languages ​​use this construction, including Arabic , Hebrew and Urdu. We heard several members of royal families and dignitaries using the word , as in " decree " or "we are not amused . " Does not indicate that more than one person speaks rather refers to excellence , power or dignity speaker. When we have this concept in mind , it is clear that no one is worthy to use the royal of God - God.

" (This is) a Book which We have revealed to you ( Muhammad ) so that you can bring mankind out of darkness into light ( of belief in the oneness of God ) ... " ( Qur'an 14: 01)

The respected 13th century Islamic scholar , Sheikh al- Islam Ibn Taymiyah said : " When Allah uses the plural to refer to himself , which is based on respect and honor it deserves, and the great number of His names and attributes , and the large number of troops and angels

The use of words nahnu , or fact in any way inna indicate that more than one god . They have no connection at all with the idea of a trinity . The entire foundation of Islam is based on the belief that there is one God , and Muhammad is his final messenger .

" And your God is God , that there is a person who has the right to be worshiped but He , Most Gracious, Most Merciful . " ( Quran 2:163 )

God’s Attributes  Allah
If the Creator is eternal and everlasting , then His attributes must be eternal and everlasting . If this is the case, then his attributes are absolute. Can there be more than one Creator with such absolute attributes ? Can there be , for example, two absolutely powerful Creators ? I thought a moment, shows that this is not feasible . One

The Quran summarizes this argument in the following verses :

" God has not given the child , and there is no other God with him , for then each god would have taken that which he created and some of them were on the other. " (Quran 23:91)

Also ,

" Why were there gods in earth and heaven other than God , they ( heaven and earth ) will surely ruin. " ( Quran 21:22)
The oneness of God  Allah

The Quran reminds us of the falsity of the alleged gods. To the worshipers of man-made objects , it asks: One

" You worship what you have carved yourself ? " ( Quran 37:95 )

Also ,

" ... Or do yourself others beside Him to be your protectors , even such as have no power for good or evil themselves? ... " ( Quran 13:16)

For lovers of the heavenly bodies that cites the story of Abraham :

" When night spread over him, he saw a star and said, ' This is my Lord . " But when it set, he said , do not like setters. " When he saw the moon rising , he said: " What is .. my Lord : " Then , when he said : " Unless my Lord guide me , I surely wrong " people to see the sun rising , he said: " This is my Lord . most " Then , when he said : "O my people , I will surely leave you associate , I have turned my face to Him Who originated the heavens and the earth, a man of pure faith , "I am not one of the polytheists . The attitude of the believer

To be a Muslim is to surrender to God , we must believe in the oneness of God , in the sense of being the only Creator, Preserver , Sustainer , etc. But this belief n 'is not enough . Many of the idolaters knew and believed that only the Supreme God could do all this. But it was not enough to make Muslims . In addition to this belief , we must recognize that God is the one who deserves to be worshiped , and thus abstains from worshiping any other thing or being .

Having achieved this knowledge of the one true God , man should always have faith in Him, and should allow nothing to induce him to deny truth . One

What this means is that if you submit consciously to God without reserve , and admits that he is worthy of their worship , therefore , we must love . That is, knowing that we owe obedience means implement what we recognize in our hearts. God asks rhetorically :

" Do you think we had created for fun and are not returned to us? " ( Quran 23:115 )

He also stated categorically :

"I have not created jinn and man to worship Me . " ( Quran 51:56 ) One

Therefore, when faith enters a person's heart , it causes certain mental states which result in certain actions. Together, these mental states and actions are the proof of the true faith . The Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said:

"Faith is that which resides firmly in the heart and which is proved by deeds. "

The first of those mental states is the feeling of gratitude towards God , which could be said to be the essence of worship .

The feeling of gratitude is so important that a non-believer is called ' kafir ' which means' one who denies the truth "being ungrateful " as well . One

A believer loves, and is grateful to God for the blessings He has given to him, but being aware that his good deeds , whether mental or physical , are far from regarding divine favor , is always anxious that God not punished , here or in the hereafter . So feared, surrenders to Him and serve Him with great humility. You can not be in a mental state without being almost all the time mindful of God. Remember that God is the life force of faith , without which it fades and withers .

The Quran tries to promote this feeling of gratitude by repeating the attributes of God very frequently. Most of these attributes mentioned together in the following verses of the Qur'an are :  Allah

" He is God , there is no god but God. He is the Knower of the unseen and the visible, He is the Compassionate , the Merciful . He is God, there is no god him. He is the King , the Holy , the All - Peace, the Guardian of Faith , the All- Conservative , the Mighty, the All-Compelling , the All- Sublime . Glory to God in - previous associate for He is God, the Creator , the Maker, the Shaper. to Him belong the most beautiful names . whatever is in the heavens and earth glorifies He is the Mighty , the Wise " (Quran 59:22-24 ) .

Also ,

"There is no god but He , the Living, the Eternal. Slumber Sleep Does not grasp . To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. Which is what should intercede to save it without your permission ? Him know what is before them and what is theirs, and they do not understand anything of His knowledge except as He wills. footstool extends over the heavens and the earth. Also ,

" People of the Scripture , do not exceed the limits of your religion, not God tell the truth . ( is ) for a child " ( Quran 4:171 ) .

Therefore, we have three parts to our recognition of God as the one true God. We must believe that He is the Supreme Creator , the controller and the judge of the universe and everything in it , you should refrain from the worship of anything to it, and then actually carry our worship of him and know that he alone has all the divine names and attributes , and can not apply to any other being, no matter who they are. If we just recognize these needs with their lips , even if we refrain from applying to other gods , is not sufficient . They should be addressed to sincerely recognize you too. Allah

Allah is the personal name of the One True God. Nothing else can be called God . The term has no plural or gender.
