God ( Allah ) has many names , and each shows his greatness , perfection and His Majesty . Prophet Muhammad said, "God has ninety -nine names , one hundred less one , who learns them will enter Paradise. When a person learns that God is al- Ahad ( The One and Only ) , will not absorb anything else with him when he learns that he is al- Razzaq (the operator) , not seeking another person available when learns that he is al- Ghafar ( the forgiving ) , it is only God turns to forgiveness .
Prophet Muhammad emphasized the importance of calling God by His most beautiful names . In their prayers to God , is known to have said : " Oh , my God, I pray for each name you named yourself , or have revealed in Your Book, or he has learned from his creatures , or has kept hidden in the unseen know yourself . The name Rabb ( Lord , worship ) is repeated in many verses of the Quran . The guide Rubb and takes care of all believers , and does business and gives blessings you want. In the English language there is really no equivalent for the word Rabb . Often translated as Lord , but that word does not do justice to the breadth and depth of meaning of the Arabic word Rabb . This means that the only Lord of the universe , the Creator , Sustainer , worship and gives security . names
The name of Al- Hakim ( The Wise ) and Al- Hakam ( The Judge ) indicate that God is the source of all the wisdom of His creation and His commandments , and He is the judge of all things . It is He who created everything, and therefore He alone knows the true wisdom in it . He shall judge between mankind by His law, His decree and His reward or punishment. He judges fairly and does not oppress anyone. No one can bear the sins of others . God is righteous in all his decisions .
" ... And who is better in judgment than God for those who are convinced of the faith. " ( Quran 5:50 )
" God will judge between you on the Day of Resurrection concerning that wherein they used to differ. " ( Quran 22:69 )
God's Name Al- Quddus ( The Holy ) indicates that is blessed and pure. Angels sanctify Him, and He is praised for his virtues and goodness . God is holy because it is far superior to that of opposites , rivals, partners or son. It is perfect , no defects or deficiencies . It is , above all, to be near him in all aspects :
"... There is nothing like it ... " ( Quran 42:11 )
and ,
"And no co - equal or comparable to it. " ( Quran 112:4 )
Among the names of God are Al- Mu'ti ( The Giver ) and Al- Maani ' ( The retainer ) . Nobody can deny that it is given , and no one can give what he denies. He gives to whom He wills , and whom He withholds .
Prophet Muhammad said in one of his young companions :
"We know that if all were to meet to benefit from something, you benefit only with something that God had already prescribed . And if they come together to harm you with anything , just hurt with something that God had already prescribed . " (At Tirmidhi )
God is Al- Shaakir ( The Grateful ) and Al- Shakur ( The Appreciative ) . He is the only one who appreciates the smallest act , and larger forgiving . Increases good works and appreciate those who give thanks to God . God remembers those who remember it.
" And they say : ( Quran 35:34 ) "Praise be to Allah, Who has removed from us ( all) sorrow Indeed, our Lord is Forgiving Responsive (good deeds and reward ) . " .
According to the sayings of the Prophet Muhammad , we learn :
" God writes good and bad works . Whoever wanted a good deed and has not done it, God writes as a full good deed , but if the intention and did, God recorded as ten good deeds to seven hundred times , or many times . expected bad but if you did not , God writes as a full good deed , but if the intent and did, God writes like a bad action . " ( Sahih Al- Bukhari , Sahih Muslim)
God is the one who will lead mankind in a way that benefits them and protects them . God is Al- Hadi ( guide) . It is the only source of guidance and from whom everything emanates protection. Address makes the hearts of God is full of mercy and justice. He is the guiding light in the dark.
" But sufficient is your Lord as a Guide and Helper . " ( Quran 25:31 )
These are just some of the names of God found in the Qur'an and the authentic sayings of the Prophet Muhammad . You will find many of these names and attributes, at the end of the verses of the Quran . When we come to God , He comes to us . When we called him, listens and responds . Al- Rahman and Al- Rahim
In the name of God ( Allah ) Most Gracious, Most Merciful .
This article is just as Muslims begin with many companies. Before starting, even the most mundane tasks of life, eating, drinking, dressing or bathing , a Muslim become their efforts in worship that mention the name of God. Prophet Muhammad taught us that God is more merciful to His creatures than a mother to her son ( Sahih Bukhari and Muslim) and , in fact, the Arabic word for womb , Raheem , is derived from the same root that mercy - Rahmah . It is important that there is a unique connection between mercy and God 's uterus . God feeds and shelters us and nourishes the uterus sheds the fetus. Merciful
Prophet Muhammad explained the quality of mercy to his companions , telling them that God has one hundred parts of mercy , and sent some to share with creation. This is why people are compassionate and kind to others , and wild animals treat their offspring gently . But God has chosen the other 99 parties that are granted to the believers on the Day of Judgment. ( Sahih Muslim)
All creation show love and compassion to each other with just this part of mercy. Humans willingly give poor families in need of support and love , and animals protect their young . The mercy and compassion in general take into account the need to alleviate suffering and spread the goodness and joy. Although this world sometimes seems to be a dark and gloomy , the mercy of God can be seen and felt by those who meditate and reflect . The rain falls , the sun shines , a child with her father 's hand and the kitten nestled in the protective warmth of his mother. The mercy of God is strong and visible around us, but in the day of judgment , to be completed mercy, the addition of the last 99 games and giving mercy , love and compassion for the believers who do good and tried to please God in all his affairs . As a sign of the infinite mercy of God for mankind, He sent prophets and messengers to guide us and help us stay on the right path to Eternal Paradise . God said he has not sent the Prophet Muhammad to all humanity , that mercy .
" We have sent you ( O Muhammad ) can not but as a mercy for all that exists . " (Quran 21:107 )
Prophet Muhammad was the embodiment of mercy , who showed compassion to those around him, his family , orphans , friends and strangers. God spoke to him saying :
" This is a mercy from God , compassionate with them . Had you been severe and harsh hard-hearted , they would have dispersed from around you , so pass over ( their faults ) , and ask ( ) God's forgiveness for them and consult them in the affairs " ( Qur'an 3:159 ) .
Prophet Muhammad often heard to invoke God's mercy for the believers , and Muslims greet saying Assalamu alaikum wa Rahmatullah (Peace and mercy of God be upon you. ) Mercy and all that it entails is a very important concept in Islam , as it contains the generosity , respect , tolerance and forgiveness , qualities which a Muslim is supposed to grow in this life .
As frail human beings , we often feel alone and lost in a world that seems devoid of mercy and it is in these moments that we must turn to God and seek His forgiveness and mercy. When we turn to Him in true submission Its tranquility descends upon us and we are able to feel the quality of mercy, and to see it manifest in the world around us . Merciful

We can call you by these names when we feel the need to give thanks for the many blessings God has bestowed on us , or in our hour of need. We implore the mercy of God more deeply when we are in need of comfort and safety. When the transience of this world seems to have made us helpless , the most powerful (God) always and forever will cover us with His goodness and ask in return only that we believe in Him and worship Him.

The Islamic concept of God, the word "Allah" ,
and an introduction to the various names of God.In any discussion of the names of God , it is important to understand that Muslims believe in one true God, the only Creator , who has dominion over all that exists , existed or come into existence . The Muslims worship the same God to whom all the prophets worshiped .
" ... What were you witnesses when death approaches Jacob when he told his son : " What will you worship after me " They said," We will worship your God, the God of your fathers , Abraham , Ishmael, Isaac , One God , and to Him we submit ( in Islam ) "( Quran 2:133 ) .
The prophets of Islam are the same prophets found in Jewish and Christian traditions , they all came to his people with the same message - to recognize and worship the One God. Judaism and Christianity in its original form and Islam as we know it today, are as together this one true God. However, Islam revealed to the Prophet Muhammad is the fulfillment of God's revelation to mankind. After realizing this , it is also important to understand that Islam totally rejects the idea that God has partners or associates, or that somehow combines with men or animals to form a divinity . God is God, the One, the Unique . "... There is nothing like it. " ( Quran 42:11 )
Muslims believe in one, merciful God , the only creator and sustainer of the universe and who you call for your name revealed - Allah . In this age of mass communication and technological progress unhindered almost not a single human being who has not heard the word and realized that part of the belief system that is Islam. Perhaps some confusion arises , and people can ask who is God.
In Arabic Allah means True God worthy of submission and devotion. Jews and Arab Christians refer to God as God , and He is the only true God, is even mentioned in the biblical passage " Hear, O Israel : The Lord your God is One." (Deuteronomy 06:04 and Mark 12:29) The word God is spelled and pronounced differently in many languages : the French call it God , God the Spanish and the Chinese call the God Shangdi , however. the God of monotheistic religions ( Judaism, Christianity and Islam ) are the same .
The differences and confusion due to the fact that the word "God " can not be plural as in gods , or change gender as a goddess. This is not the case in Arabic. The word Allah is unique, no plural or gender. The use of words or grammatical only and in no way indicate that Allah has any form of sex is comprehensible to us. Allah is unique and does not share its name with what can be described idols. His name is immutable . God himself describes in the Qur'an:
" Say (O Muhammad ) : He is Allah, ( the ) .. One Allah , the eternal (Foundation) [ In Arabic " Samad " (teacher self-sufficient , that all creatures need , He neither eats nor drinks ) ] is generated not been begotten, and there is no co -equal or comparable Him" ( Qur'an 112 ) .
A Muslim is one who went to God , and there is no doubt that He is the Creator . A Muslim is grateful for all the benefits and blessings conferred on him by God , look around and see the wonders of the universe . A Muslim in the deep ocean wonders and the delicate petals of a flower. However, this belief is not the only thing needed by a Muslim, but must also know with certainty that God alone deserves to be worshiped . He has no partners , not the same, and no son or daughter.
He is God - Allah . The entire universe reflects His Oneness . Indeed , the contemplation of the universe, from the most humble grain of sand in the Mighty and Majestic mountains , you can see the magnificence of God. This vast universe operates according to a specific system , while in its right place, created in the proper proportions . The sun rises and casts its light upon us, the flowers bloom and life is of little seeds inanimate . God gave every part of creation you need, and led to what is most appropriate . All creation is in need of it, but you need one. Each creation has a purpose and achieve this goal recognizes the rights of creators. God says in the Quran that we have created , with the exception that we must worship (Quran 51:56 ) and it is your right to us .
The first principle and the focal point of Islam is belief in God and the entire Qur'an is devoted to this topic . Talk directly to God and His essence , names, attributes and actions. God is mentioned in the Qur'an , by one or more of His Names and Attributes, 10,062 times. The big names of God is Allah.
" Allah ( None has the right to be worshiped but He ) To Him belong the most beautiful names . " ( Quran 20:08 )
" And (all) the Most Beautiful Names belong to Allah, so call on Him by them , and leave the company of those who contradict or deny ( or Total impious speech against ) His Names " ( Quran 7 . : 180 )
A Muslim is encouraged to remember God and thank God at all times and in an easy way , but it is beneficial to contemplate and understand His beautiful names . With these names , we know our Creator and learn to praise and worship , and call it by the names that are indicative of our needs.
In the appeal , the Prophet Muhammad is known to have said : " O Allah, I ask You by every name you named yourself, or have revealed in Your Book, or that you have learned all of his creation and have maintained hidden in the unseen know yourself . " ( Ahmad ) Therefore , their names are not limited to what He has revealed in the Qur'an or the tradition of the Prophet Muhammad .
God says in the Quran : "Verily ! I am God ! Nobody has the right to be worshiped but on that which I worship ... " ( Quran 20:14). To worship God , we must know God . We gain a real benefit from this knowledge and eternal. Increase faith and heart of those who can focus on the most powerful, the wisest , the most merciful and just God .
